This unusual hidden gem of a course is found within the suburban district of Wolstanton. An 18 hole, 5761 yard, par-68 course created out of 130 acres of Old Dimsdale Hall parkland just outside the ancient market town of Newcastle-under-Lyme way back in 1904. The surrounding mature trees, rhododendron bushes and course settings add considerable charm, and provide challenging hazards, on this golf course. Due to years of maturity, the ravines and mature vegetation have been incorporated into the tight layout so that care and accuracy are demanded both off the tees and on the excellent greens.
