Lackabane is the newest of the three courses at Killarney Golf & Fishing Club, and this Donald Steele designed course officially opened for play in 2000. Lakes and streams are a feature throughout the length and breadth of the course adding beauty and danger in equal measure. At 6,474 metres off the very back tees, the long game will be tested to the full as competitors in the 2002 Ladies Irish Open and the European Ryder Cup Challenge Tour participants experienced in 2005.
