The Island Golf Club boasts a jewel of a links course, which until 1973 had to be reached by boat from across the estuary at Malahide. Thankfully, this North Dublin golfing gem is now more easily accessible and well worth the journey. It enjoys a peaceful setting and is bordered by the sea on three sides.


Throughout its history, The Island has valued and protected its natural heritage, and as a result can now proudly claim to be one of the most stunning, natural and peaceful courses in Ireland. The club itself is known for the warm welcome offered to all of its guests and the friendly nature of its members.


Splendidly isolated, The Island boasts the highest sand dunes of any links course in Ireland. It is peacefully surrounded by the Irish Sea, Donabate Beach, and Broadmeadow Estuary, with scenic beauty that never fails to impress.
