The Main Course at Birchwood Park is a beautifully laid out golf course surrounded by lush Kent countryside, and offers a fantastic challenge for players of all abilities. Its challenging layout combines a wealth of bunkers, water hazards, wispy rough and well sculpted undulating fairways. The Main Course at Birchwood Park has a reputation for its challenging finishing stretch, in particular the 453 yard 15th which requires an accurate drive to gain a good position from which to hit the second shot to a well-protected green 40 feet below. Birchwood Park’s signature hole, the 18th is an impressive 432 yard par 4. With the clubhouse as a backdrop, a lake lurking to the right and the possibility of several spectators on the patio, it certainly is a great finishing hole.
The Short Course (Orchard Course) at Birchwood Park is a great golf course for those who are pressed for time, are new to the game golf, or those golfers that just want to practice their short and mid-range game. This fun course can be enjoyed by everyone, including families, and can be played in under 90 minutes. Maintained to the same high standard as the Main Course, this 9-hole course is made up of a great selection of Par 3s and 1 Par 4, ranging from 83 yard to 254 yards in length. Booking isn’t required to play the Short Course, simply pay at reception and then enjoy your round. For beginners, we also have a selection of golf equipment available to hire.
