Golf clubs

Bearsted Golf Club dates back to 1895 and today is a modern, friendly, 18 hole parkland member's golf club set across 2 valleys in undulating beautiful tree lined countryside. In two loops of nine holes, the mature parkland course unusually starts and finishes with a par 3.

The course features some beautiful landscaped and challenging holes, many with excellent views of the North Downs and the beautiful surrounding Kent Garden of England. We pride ourselves in a good track well manicured with opportunities to score well. However, course management is important, you must get drive into right areas else water, trees and ditches await.

All the Greens were replaced in the early 2000's and are constructed to USGA regulations. The Clubhouse was built new in 2000 where we have a lounge bar, spike bar and a terrace overlooking the first hole adjoining a spacious restaurant where Chef John Cosgrove prepares some of the finest food in Kent.

They have a large putting green, driving nets & practice ground all situated close to the Clubhouse and first tee. Our Professional Tim Simpson is happy to provide teaching, coaching and equipment advice to members & visitors to the Club.
