For many, Morecambe is one of Alister Mackenzie̍s masterpieces and whilst there are no par fives there are sufficient long par fours to test the very best of golfers. This golf course was designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie in 1905. Morecambe Golf Club is a private members club situated on the north-west tip of the Lancashire coast. The course is just over a mile from the centre of the popular coastal resort of Morecambe, over-looking magnificent Morecambe Bay, and 3 miles from the historic city of Lancaster.
