Dyrham Park Country Club's 6,428 yard course presents a rich and varied challenge, with tree-lined fairways and several water hazards, and is known for its immaculate condition throughout the year. Recently ranked No.12 Golf Course in Hertfordshire by Top 100 Golf Courses, Dyrham Park is one of the most enjoyable Hertfordshire golf and country clubs. Designed by C.K. Cotton, perhaps one of the most influential golf architects of the mid-twentieth century, many of his signature design styles are found at Dyrham Park as it tests and rewards golfers of all standards. The course reflects the belief of "no risk, no reward". Numerous holes feature distinctive water hazards with the spectacular 7th tempting the brave with a 200-yard carry over a lake. Recent renovations to the 6th and 13th holes has seen the introduction of an impressive new lake measuring some 2,000 square metres that provides a genuine and daunting challenge to golfers of all handicaps. The original stretch of holes from 14-16 - known as "the loop" - can make or break a round, with water a danger on each hole, but with chances for birdies too.
