It is a friendly club and both visitors and societies enjoy the course.
The course is situated 4 miles north west of the city of Hereford, nestled in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. The walking is easy, with gentle rolling fairways around two lakes, playing through mature cider orchards. There is always a background of hills, woods and wildlife with the Welsh mountains in the distance.
At 6224 yards par 71, most of the holes require considerable thought, and with a policy of continual improvement it is seen as a fair but interesting test for players of all abilities. It has excellent practice and teaching facilities, including a dedicated short game area. This club was established in 1993.
